SAN FRANCISCO, USA // Looking to combine his digital experience with traditional agency work, Lee joined Venables Bell & Partners in 2010 as a Creative Director. Since then, Lee has been instrumental in leading some of the most innovative and talked-about work VB&P has created, most notably for REI’s #OptOutside movement, Google “City Gym,” Google Fiber’s “Nick’s First Pitch,” and eBay’s “When it’s on your mind. It’s on eBay.”
He currently leads the agency’s Miller/Coors business, 3M and Sheraton and Westin brands. As Associate Partner, he heads up the agency’s Branded Entertainment practice as well as directing content through Lumberyard, the agency’s in-house content production unit.
Prior to VB&P, Lee worked at Mekanism and Rabbit Content, creative directing and directing digital campaigns for Nike, Microsoft (ZUNE), Sprint, PG&E, Mike’s Hard Lemonade, Comcast, MTV and others.
He also founded Arnold Entertainment, a branded entertainment arm of the agency where he worked for 5-years and helped to create the award-winning truth(r) anti-smoking campaign that at its time drove down smoking by 29% and was the most awarded PSA campaign ever.
