NEW YORK, USA // Ms. Pomerantz joined Michael Kors in 2010. In this role, she oversees communications, events, advertising, social media, creative execution, philanthropy and VIP relations.
During a time of rapid international growth for the brand, Ms. Pomerantz strategically developed a globally recognized brand DNA through tactile omni-channel storytelling. Utilizing all channels of marketing and communications, she effectively educated fans on the ever-growing product scope and breadth of the brand as it evolved into a multi-billion dollar company.
Over the past five years, Ms. Pomerantz has developed a robust internal creative agency that has established a globally recognized visual identity and become a pioneer in the communications and marketing arena. She has also led the charge on the brand’s hunger-focused philanthropic platform, forming a long-term partnership with the United Nations World Food Programme.
Previously, Ms. Pomerantz spent ten years at Bottega Veneta as Director of Global Marketing, Branding and Communications where she was responsible for major re-branding efforts. She also served as Director of Marketing and Communications of North America at Celine for six years, during which time Michael Kors was the designer for the brand.
Prior to that, Ms. Pomerantz held communication roles at Donna Karan and Giorgio Armani, as well as a sales-and-merchandising position at Valentino. She began her career in retail at Browns Fashion and Macy’s.
Ms. Pomerantz has a bachelor’s degree in organization communications from The University of Texas.
