NEW YORK, USA // Marcus is a seasoned veteran in the music and entertainment marketing business whose skills and relationships have been invaluable to companies looking to market their brands through highâprofile partnerships.
Marcus is Ketchum’s EVP of Entertainment and head of Ketchum’s music marketing practice, Ketchum Sounds, where he and his team create entertainment marketing programs winning accolades including a 2015 Sabre, a 2014 Cannes Lion, and PRSA Silver Anvil awards. He has orchestrated some of the industry’s most notable celebrity and brand partnerships with names like Jon Bon Jovi, Little Big Town, Lauren Conrad, Ariana Grande, Boys II Men, Nick Lachey, Sara Bareilles and One Republic for brands including Advil, MasterCard, Kleenex, Wendy’s and Malibu Rum.
Marcus started his career in concert promotion where he promoted over 80 arena shows in five markets. Peterzell then moved into television producing numerous music network/cable TV series for outlets including Cinemax, Lifetime, USA, Viacom, and MTV. Marcus then served as The Cure’s U.S. manager representing them for four platinum records, a sold out stadium tour, and served as executive producer of their feature film “Show”. Marcus has hosted many high profile music panels at Adweek and the Cannes Lions and is the V.P of the T.J Martell Board of Directors.
