DUBAI, UAE // Marie Claire is the Chief Creative Officer across EMEA and the Middle East at the world’s leading public relations consultancy firm, Edelman.

Throughout her career, starting in 2006 at BBDO, Marie-Claire has worked with an extensive portfolio of both international and MENA brands across sectors, including Mars, J&J, PepsiCo, Essity and Annahar Newspaper. Marie Claire has contributed to hugely impactful and effective campaigns driven by her purpose to add value and better the life of others, one idea at a time.

In turn her work has earned hundreds of awards in the industry’s leading international and regional shows including Grands Prix at Cannes Lions and the only Yellow Pencil by D&AD for the MENA region in 2022. Marie Claire was also named the third Most Awarded Executive Creative Director in the world in 2023, ranked as the number one female ECD, Top 3 outstanding woman by Ad Media and winner of the Next Creative Leader at the 3% Conference. Most recently MC was the highest-ranked professional in the region by The Drum World Creative Rankings for both 2023 and 2024.

Her penchant for injecting positivity into life, has led her to study Pranic Healing and to a certification in Professional Kinesiology Practice by ICPKP New Zealand and Kinesiocoach Dubai. She uses the tenants of what she learned to spread a positive culture through public speaking events, with the people she works with and create a healthy, collaborative environment.

In her role as EMEA Chief Creative Officer, Marie leads creative across 13 markets with the mission to create original, impactful, and effective work across Edelman’s specialisms including brand marketing, digital, influencer and entertainment with clients across a breadth of sectors such as energy, financial services, FMCG, travel, health and technology.
