LOS ANGELES, USA // Mike Earnhardt is as surprised as you are that he wound up doing what he’s doing. After graduating with degrees in Anthropology, English, and Film—what his parents would call the ‘triple whammy of unemployability’— he left North Carolina and somehow found his way to InSync Plus, where he fell in love with editing and writing. First as a trailer editor/ copywriter and then as Creative Director, he has helped shape campaigns for the last 15 years on a wide range of projects, including “Spotlight”, “Pitch Perfect”, “Silver Linings Playbook”, “Despicable Me”, “Taken”, “Midnight In Paris”, “The Secret Life of Pets”, “Whiplash”, “The Jinx”, “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt”, “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes”, and “The King’s Speech”. And yes, he also worked on “I Know Who Killed Me”.
In his spare time, such as it is, he loves reading, hiking, basketball, and doing stuff with his kids. And despite repeated attempts at explanations, His parents still have no idea what he actually does for a living.
