LOS ANGELES, USA // Pär Larsson began his advertising career in his native Sweden, bringing his Scandinavian design sensibilities to the U.S. in 1995. Shortly thereafter he became partner at 30sixty Advertising in Los Angeles, where he now serves as executive creative director and co-owner/president.
Pär helped set the industry bar for entertainment packaging, working closely with New Line and Weta on the campaigns for The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Over the years he has also contributed to the successful releases of properties such as Paramount’s Indiana Jones series, 20th Century Fox’s Sons of Anarchy, HBO’s Game of Thrones, and the Harry Potter franchise for Warner Bros.
Winner of numerous CLIO Key Art Awards, including the Grand CLIO for the Harry Potter Wizard’s Collection in 2013, Pär continuously strives for original and innovative packaging design, and to inspire young designers and art directors to develop and strengthen their skills.
For the past several years, Pär has brought his passion for simple and iconic design to the development of Theatrical and Television key art. Most notably, he created the print campaigns for the inaugural season of Vikings for History, and Tut for Spike TV, and is a regular contributor to tune-in campaigns for networks such as, A&E, HBO, HBO Europe, History, Spike TV and USA Network.
