LOS ANGELES, CA // As VP, Sr. Creative Director of Motion Graphics, Pete Bergeron heads the motion group at Mob Scene, Inc. He leads a team of designers and animators that handle the graphic work for all areas of Mob Scene’s output (theatrical marketing, international theatrical marketing, content, broadcast).
Prior to Mob Scene, Pete led Trailer Park Motion Graphics since 2008, which serviced the film and broadcast divisions at Trailer Park, Inc. During his time there he worked to build a group whose focus was on form following function, and an insistence that all form and all function be exciting, smart, and sexy. Pete contributed to Key Art, Clio, and Golden Trailer Award winning campaigns for The Expendables Part 2 and 3, The Hunger Games series, Godzilla, Mad Max Fury Road, Suicide Squad, Kong: Skull Island, and most notably the stylistically acclaimed campaign for Baby Driver.
Pete has lived in Los Angeles since attending CalArts from 1999¬-2001, where he earned a BFA in graphic design. The CalArts training taught clarity of intent, the importance of concept, and awareness of the visual culture in which work is being made. His career focused in on motion graphics for the movie industry when he started work at Creative Domain in 2002.
Pete loves his home is in Eagle Rock, a place he shares with his incredible wife Rachel, three sons– Liam, Finn, and Hardy, two cats– Larry and Sun, one dog– Penny, and a guinea pig named Greta. He watches a bunch of TV every night. He regularly considers cutting off his beard but Rachel talks him out of it.
