MÉXICO CITY, MÉXICO // Rafael Reina has worked at some of the most prestigious agencies in Latin America, leading the creative, technological, and digital transformation of operations with remarkable results. Recently, he assumed the role of Chief Creative Officer at Ogilvy México & Miami, following a successful five-year tenure as CCO of Ogilvy Puerto Rico. In 2014, he was recognized by Adlatina as one of the region’s top young creatives, and in 2022, Latinspots named him one of the top 5 creative directors in Ibero-America.

Rafael began his career at a video game engineering and programming company. In 2008, he joined Proximity, where he helped establish operations in Colombia. Two years later, he moved to Leo Burnett Colombia in 2010, where he contributed to the agency’s transformation through a focus on innovation, enhancing its digital and creative reputation, and expanding its offering by launching Digitas in LATAM for Publicis Group. His work there earned Colombia its first-ever Cannes Grand Prix.

Later, he took on the challenge of transforming Ogilvy De la Cruz Puerto Rico, where he positioned the agency as the #1 in the country for four consecutive years and secured its first Cannes Lions in the categories of mobile, technology, and digital. Under his leadership, the agency ranked among the top 4 in Ibero-America and became the #1 office in Ogilvy Latina according to Crema 2023. Now, Rafael seeks to leverage his creativity, technology, and leadership expertise to elevate the Ogilvy México and Ogilvy Miami offices to new heights.

Rafael has participated as a grand juror and speaker at major global festivals, and he has received over 300 awards in creativity, effectiveness, and technology at prestigious events, including Cannes Lions, Clio, Effie LATAM, New York Festival, The One Show, Webby Awards, FIAP, El Sol, Wave, D&AD, Ojo de Iberoamérica, El Dorado, YouTube Works, and TikTok Awards, among others.
