HAMBURG, GERMANY // Raphael Brinkert is managing partner and founder of Jung von Matt/sports – Germany's most awarded sports marketing agency 2014, 2015 and 2016, a member of the board of GWA Germany´s leading Agencies and a lecturer at the International School of Management (ISM).
From 2011 to 2013 he operated as the managing director of Jung von Matt/Fleet. During that period, he managed a portfolio of clients such as: GE, Sixt and Zalando.
Between 2000 and 2010 Raphael worked for Scholz & Friends, where he ultimately founded and functioned as the managing director for Scholz & Friends NRW.
Brinkert has been recognised for his significant role in numerous creative campaigns, winning over 250 awards in the areas of: creativity, efficiency, digital and sponsorship.
Since 2014, Brinkert has had his own column in Handelsblatt magazine. In 2007, he was listed as one of the “Top 25 high potential managers in Germany. Brinkert created the FC Schalke 04 Facebook Page, which he handed over to the club after one year – at that point the page already had over 300M interactions. His private Facebook Page “Bundesliga” currently has more than 2.5M fans.
Aside from his professional functions, Brinkert is the initiator and supporter of the human rights campaign “Everyone has the right to human rights” and also consults personalities like football world champion Benedikt Höwedes and Formula 1 driver Nico Hülkenberg in the areas of marketing and communications.
