NEW YORK, USA // Renata has been with Ogilvy in North America for 7 years. First as Global Creative Lead for brands such as SC Johnson and Unilever, then as Chief Creative Officer for Health and Wellness and most recently she’s been appointed NA Creative Lead for Nestlé.

She has more than 20 years’ experience in advertising, producing creative results that help sell products, build brands and win awards.

One of her passions in Health and Wellness is to work with educational campaigns that help raise funds and awareness for vaccines. One example is the World Immunization Week supported by the WHO and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, that happens every April and couldn’t have been more important than in the past couple of years.

Industry recognitions include Creative Social Influencer of the Year by the Creative Pool, Cannes Lions Jury for Health and Wellness and Social Good, One Show Jury Member for Wellness and Ogilvy Worldwide Creative Council Member.

With over 50 global creative awards, including 20 Cannes Lions, she says that the best prize we can get in this business is to create unforgettable work that come from long lasting relationships with clients and teams.

Renata was born in Brazil to an Italian father and a Brazilian mother. She started her career in São Paulo, working at the most creative networks in the region. With dual citizenship, she then moved to Europe to work in Italy and the UK. Later, she went back to Brazil to lead global brands. After some time, she was relocated to New York, where she’s been calling it home for over a decade and where she acquired American citizenship.

With a degree in Language and Literature, Renata achieved her master’s in advertising and was a teacher of Creative Writing before becoming a copywriter. Now she functions on all sides of the creative process, including writing short stories and documentary films. She likes the speed of the advertising life, but also loves to chill with her family. She’s married, has two adorable grown-up children and a very human Labrador.
