SAO PAULO, BRAZIL // Renato Simoes began his career in the advertising business back in 1993. He has worked for a variety of agencies across Brazil, including F/Nazca S&S, Leo Burnett, Fischer, and Salles DMB&B (now Publicis).

In 2006, Renato moved to AlmapBBDO, where he stayed for almost nine years. His work helped Almap win Agency of The Year, both at the Clio Awards and the Cannes Festival, for two years in a row (2010 and 2011).

In January 2015, Renato joined Wieden+Kennedy São Paulo as Executive Creative Director.

Throughout his career, Renato has created campaigns for brands such as Volkswagen, Visa, Pepsi, Fiat, Ambev and, in the past few months, for Nike, Heineken, Smirnoff, Coca-Cola, TIM, Hering, P&G and Mondelez.

Renato has earned some of the most coveted awards in the advertising industry. As a copywriter, he has won nineteen Cannes Lions; more recently, he has received thirty Lions for his work as a Creative Director.

He’s also been awarded accolades at various festivals, including the Clio Awards, D&AD and the One Show.
