Rodrigo preaches agile teaming, design thinking, problem solving, strategic thinking, collaboration, all through creative empowerment and silent leadership. From idea to execution, He gets together with great thinkers and makers to design solutions and constantly reinvent the way they think about human experience and new technology.
He’s deeply passionate about his work, perpetually curious, and pretty determined to seek inspiration outside his comfort zone. This has led him to a rewarding career as creative leader for some of the world’s most prestigious companies based in the US, China, Brazil, and the UK. Nowadays, He’s the Global Head of Creative of WhatsApp.
A globally recognized leader, Rodrigo got ranked in the top 10 Creative Directors of the world and has been awarded at the most prestigious festivals in the creative industry, including 10 Grand Prix and more than 300 major awards including 30 lions, Grand Prix for Good, Creative Effectiveness, Titanium, including a Best Of Show at the One Show. His most recent accomplishment was to be a creative partner of a NGO that won an Oscar for best short documentary, in 2020. Finally, He’s extremely proud of having his work featured in the main lobby and permanent collection of the MoMA/NY and many other museums around the world and have another work adopted officially by the government of Spain, the city of Madrid, and even used by Joe Biden and the Democrats at the National Democrat Convention.
Before discovering his passion for creativity, He worked in marketing and in sales too.
From a recent MBA at the Berlin Creative School of Leadership to Hyper Island/Stockholm to Miami Ad School, He will never stop learning new ways of doing great things.
Most importantly, Rodrigo Moran is a proud Brazilian/Spaniard, father to a New Yorker son, to a Californian daughter, and married to a beautiful Brazilian woman, from Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro.
