PORTLAND, USA // As Group Executive Creative Director at R/GA, Sammi leads creative vision and execution for the Nike teams in New York, Portland and Los Angeles, managing more than 80 creatives across the network. He has led projects such as the Nike SB app, Nike.com, Kobe Black Mamba campaign, and the recent Kyrie 2 launch films for Nike as well as the Magna Carta Holy Grail album launch with Samsung and Jay-Z.
Prior to R/GA, Sammi worked in Australia at agencies such as Sputnik and Isobar where he created integrated work for the automotive and fashion industries and also lead the marketing efforts of the Army, Navy and Air Force, winning multiple Agency Of The Year accolades.
Sammi's move to the Portland office after five years at R/GA in New York working across Nike, Samsung, Google, YouTube and Quirky brings a wealth of agency and brand knowledge to the local team. Throughout his career, his work has been recognized at Cannes, The Clios, The One Show, D&AD, ANDY Awards, The Effies, and The Webbys. Sammi studied at the University of Tasmania and makes a mean pizza base.
