HAMBURG, GERMANY // Sascha is CCO & Co-Owner of independent creative agency häppy.
In the late 90s he started as a copywriter in Düsseldorf before moving to Hamburg becoming CD and CCO of Jung von Matt/Elbe. Here he spent over 10 years creating award winning campaigns for major brands like BMW, Bosch and Mercedes-Benz. After winning the first Titanium/Integrated Lion ever awarded to a German agency with the spectacular “Dortmund Concertmilk”-case he moved across town to Kolle Rebbe/Accenture where he led creative projects for innovative brands such as Hansgrohe (“Smart Heads”), Misereor (“The Social Swipe”) and legendary tea company Hälssen & Lyon (“The Tea Calendar”). In 2020 Sascha founded a new kind of company: häppy – the first agency that consistently pursues the pursuit of happiness.
A life without music is unimaginable for the now 48-year-old. Sascha heads the ADC Germany jury for music & sound design since 2014, performs as a regular speaker & moderator at the Reeperbahnfestival, Germany’s largest platform for the music industry and digital creative thinkers. He even produces music himself (highest chart entry: #31).
There also are ongoing rumors that he is a big fan of the British pop group Pet Shop Boys. Sascha´s work has been recognized across the globe and this is his second time as a Clio juror. He wouldn´t normally do this kind of thing…
