BERLIN, GERMANY // Shelley is a Freelance Creative Director with a passion for storytelling and visual craftsmanship.

Born in Hong Kong and raised in Costa Rica, her early exploration of business gave way to a creative calling, leading her to Miami Ad School—and a solid South Beach tan. This pivotal moment sparked a life of nomadic creativity, as she lived and worked in cities like New York, Shanghai, Madrid, Hamburg, and Berlin, her two suitcases always in tow.

Shelley spent a decade at BBDO Berlin, where she helped shape smart car into Germany’s most awarded brand. Later, she joined Jung von Matt/Havel to help build the agency from the ground up, followed by a role as Creative Director at Innocean Berlin. After gaining valuable experience there, she now works as a freelance creative director. Shelley has been an instructor at Miami Ad School since 2015, finding joy in guiding and mentoring the next wave of creatives.

Beyond advertising, Shelley is deeply passionate about creating artwork in painting, illustration, and mixed media, as well as travel content creation that specializes in cinematic visuals and storytelling.
