BROOKLYN, USA // Thaddeus McCants is a Director and Writer originally from Madison, WI, which means he smiles too much, will pick you up from the airport without you asking, and still drinks a glass of milk with dinner no matter what it does to his body.

In advertising, Thaddeus has brought his thoughtful eye for comedic performance to the Roster of O Positive Films, where he has quickly become one of the most sought-after young Black directors in the industry, working with incredible brands like Progressive, Uber Eats, State Farm, HP, Avocados from Mexico, and more. 

Outside of advertising, Thaddeus’ films have won film festivals and awards nationwide. He has written and directed for HBO, AUDIBLE, MTV, and BET (where he even won ‘ BET’s Funniest Undiscovered Black Writer in America’…which feels more like an insult than an award.) 

Thaddeus couldn’t be more excited to be judging the amazing work for this year’s Super Clio jury…maybe next year he will be a nominee (or at least voted Funniest Undiscovered Super Clio Jurist?)
