NEW YORK, USA // Vinny started his career as an art director, working on such accounts as Diet Coke, MasterCard and Molson.
Since then, he’s gone on to become a copywriter and creative director, working in small shops like DeVito Verdi and big shops like Y&R and Havas, managing the Virgin Atlantic Airways, Volvo North America, Meijer Super Stores and Jackson Hewitt Tax Service accounts.
His work has been recognized in every major advertising award show, including The One Show, Art Directors Club, Cannes Lions, CLIO, Communication Arts, OBIE, London International Awards, ADDY’s, Graphis and the Radio Mercury Awards, and has been featured in Creativity Magazine, ADWEEK, Advertising Age and the New York Times.
Besides having experience in almost every category including food & beverage, packaged goods, finance, spirits and retail, Vinny has extensive healthcare experience. He has produced award-winning work for a handful of hospitals, winning the Clio Health award, Best In Show in the Hospital Marketing National awards and the Judges Choice award in the National ADDY’s.
Since graduating with honors from the School of Visual Arts, he has been teaching there, helping hundreds of students break into advertising. Check the roster of every major ad agency in New York City and you’ll probably find at least one of his ex-students listed.
