MADRID, SPAIN // Tania Sutherland is an international brand and content marketer that has led local and international teams out of London, Amsterdam and now Madrid, developing award-winning marketing and PR campaigns in entertainment across global streaming & theatrical distribution companies in EMEA.
Tania is currently Marketing Director for Southern Europe for HBO & Max Originals at Max, responsible for the region’s marketing strategy, activations, partnerships as well as creative direction for Spain’s local original productions.
She oversees an award-winning team that advocate for risk-taking campaigns with a passion for conversation catalysts and innovation, driving and creating locally relevant campaigns for beloved IP such as Euphoria, The Last of Us, Succession, House of the Dragon, And Just Like That or films from the DC universe such as The Batman.
The team have earned numerous awards during her tenure at Max including Clios, GEM, Sol awards and more.
Prior to Max, Tania held various positions leading marketing campaigns for Netflix, Mubi and Fox Searchlight at a local and international level working on global hit series such as Elite, Money Heist, Stranger Things, Sex Education or Academy award-winning films such as Black Swan, Birdman, The Grand Budapest Hotel or The Tree of Life.
