PARIS, FRANCE // Olivier Apers has been at BETC since November 2005. He works on high profile clients such as National Lottery, 13th Street, Boursorama Online Bank, Sixt car rental and Olivier is in charge of the CANAL+ account.
Before that, Oliver worked for the Volkswagen account at DDB Group in Paris for over six years and won several awards.
His eBay ‘Ad for Auction’ campaign, which won a Yellow Pencil at D&AD, made him want to develop his ideas more transversally. To widen the frame, to work on and respond to briefs, but to always try and offer that little bit extra. He wanted to stretch ideas so that a key idea can be born through different media formats. He enjoys working on integrated campaigns and building special and innovative operations.
Some of his latest campaigns include the CANAL+ Interactive form, the D&AD Ad Filter and the CANAL+ Unicorns film, all of which won Cannes Lions this year.
His various campaigns have won many awards including Cannes Lions (16 lions in different categories), D&AD Yellow Pencil, One Show, Clios, ADC New York, European and French Art Directors Club… etc…
He has been a jury member many times: Cannes Lions jury twice (outdoor and direct), D&AD jury, NY Festivals, French Art Directors Club, Young Guns Awards and Clio Awards.
