She joined Midnight Oil in January 2018 and leads a team of 300+ strategic thinkers, creative artists and expert producers dedicated to creating meaningful connections through experiences that inspire for clients such as Warner Bros., Netflix, Activision, SoftBank Robotics, Disney, Sony Pictures Television, Microsoft, EA, and Universal Pictures. Midnight Oil has received numerous accolades from the CLIO Key Art Awards, Game Marketing Awards, OMA Awards, Effie Awards, the Golden Trailer Awards, and more.
Prior to Midnight Oil, she was the President of George P. Johnson (GPJ), which was repeatedly named one of Advertising Age’s leading experiential marketing agencies under her watch. GPJ had 10 North American offices including three fabrication and manufacturing facilities in the US. Before that, she worked at several global advertising agencies in the US, Asia and Canada including McCann, Ogilvy, JWT and Grey across almost every product and service category for clients including Proctor & Gamble, Coca-Cola, MasterCard, Tesla, General Motors, Google, Nissan, Nestle, Toyota, Cisco, Amazon, Salesforce and IBM.
In 2016, Denise was honored with the Silver Award for Woman of the Year – Advertising, Marketing & Public Relations at the iconic Stevie Awards for Women in Business. She has authored several articles in Advertising Age and Event Marketer among other marketing and advertising industry and business publications.
