INT. HEART SLEEVE CREATIVE OFFICE - LATE NIGHT. TECHNICALLY MORNING.

We FADE UP on JOSH OLSON (aka JOSHUA PAUL OLSON). LATE 30's?! Hard to tell. His STRONG NORDIC HERITAGE and BABY CHEEKS obviously keep him more YOUTHFUL in appearance than his actual age might let on. That...AND the fact that HE LOVES WHAT HE DOES. Huge understatement. This obviously keeps him YOUNG AT HEART and FRESH. We get the feeling being SUPER BLESSED keeps the BLOOD FLOWIN' and the CREATIVE PUMPIN'. All we know, though, is that he's been here a while...working on something.

The SONG "Three Little Birds" by BOB MARLEY & THE WAILERS is playing through his SPEAKERS. Yup, it's on endless repeat. (Alt.) The SONG "Looking for the Magic" by Dwight Twilley Band is playing through his SPEAKERS. Yup, it's on endless repeat.

His ODDLY ARTISTIC OFFICE (some call it an "ODD MUSEUM GIFT SHOP") is DIMLY LIT. He looks out the window, focusing on the NEON GIRLS flashing across the street at THE BODY SHOP, as if this will help in some way. COMPUTER SCREEN LIGHT flickers on JOSH'S FACE, rhythmically in sync (or at least intentionally offbeat) to the song we hear. He's seriously pensive and looks around, as if some magical answer or idea is about to enter his brain. What's he working on?! SMASH CUT TO:

JOSH'S COMPUTER SCREEN: 2019 CLIO ENTERTAINMENT AWARDS - JUROR BIO

CUT BACK TO: Josh looking up, then down. He exhales slowly, seemingly frustrated.

JOSH

(to himself, obviously)
How the hell am I gonna do a better
Clio Bio than I did last time?! That Dating
Profile Concept was "genius."
(yes, he puts this in air quotes)
I seriously wasted it back then. Now what
am I gonna do...

EXTREME CLOSE-UP OF:Josh's tattooed fingers (which read "AMOR FATI") furiously type at his KEYBOARD, then delete, then type, then delete... idea...after idea...after idea.

CUT TO: Josh's FACIAL EXPRESSIONS transitioning from REFLECTIVE to DISCOURAGED to MEDITATIVE to finally... ACCEPTANCE.

JOSH

Well, fingers. Yer right. Love of fate.
Or else what's the fuckin' point, right?!
It is what it is. Now learn from it and
move on. I mean, that's why I got ya inked
in the first place. A constant reminder.
What's done is done. Ya already used that idea, buddy.
And ya always wanna keep pushing creative
and figure out what's next for yer clients.
SO?! What's next for you? For yer bio, huh?

Josh quickly JOLTS UP as a GIANT NEON BLINKING LIGHT BULB graphically FLICKERS with a DINGING SOUND above his head. Yup. Finally an idea. It's about time!

FULL COMPUTER SCREEN - SHOWING WHAT JOSH IS TYPING:

Who am I? What am I? I'm still a WIP, that's for sure. But this much I know... I'm obsessed with what we do. (Not just work...or our industry...but life, period.) I'm obsessed with finding out new ways of how to do it. It being everything. I'm obsessed with keeping our industry and how we approach what we do...FRESH. As far as I'm concerned, once this isn't interesting any longer...or I'm not pushing myself beyond the beyond...or it's no longer challenging...it's pointless. At least for me. This ain't just a job. This ain't just a career. This...what we do...film...tv...production...telling stories...being human...being alive...just being...is it. And being able to give social messaging to a dark and sometimes shitty world, reminding people and audiences (and ourselves along the way) that there is a greater purpose to all of this...there is a higher level we can keep achieving together...as humanity...in a better way each time than the time before...THAT is why I do what I do. Or maybe that's what I simply tell myself. Will I ever really know?? Who the hell knows. Do any of us?! BUT...WHAT I DO KNOW FOR CERTAIN... is that I'm truly blessed, fortunate, and GRATEFUL BEYOND WORDS to be able to do something I'm passionate about...and for the opportunities I have. I'll do my best to use this all for the betterment in whatever ways presents themselves. That's my promise. And if nothing else, I'm a man of my word. If you're still reading this at this point, "Thank You!" If not, then still... "Thank You!" ... and to the Clio Entertainment Awards... "Thank You!" Peace.
