SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL // Serginho Rezende is not just the name at the head of Comando S Áudio, one of the most important production companies in Brazil.

For over 25 years as a producer and musical director, his journey made him proficient and expert in the fields of music, publicity and entertainment (and the intersection points among them), as gave him as well a more accurate and differentiated perspective of the world of communication and sound.

He has a degree in engineering from the Federal University of Bahia, with a specialization in orchestration, and sound engineering. Serginho has participated in several festivals like CCSP, SXSW and the Cannes Lions Festival. He joined the "Radio & Audio" jury on Cannes Lions In 2019. He has already been a member of the round table and panel discussion in 2018 CCSP Festival, Jury in 2021 and became the Jury President of "Audio Category in the 2022 edition.

Between 2018 and 2019, he also became the musical director of the TV show “Só Toca Top”. The attraction was broadcasted by Rede Globo, the most watched television station in Brazil. The show has received more than 150 artists of major national relevance, reaching more than 100 million viewers in 23 episodes so far.

He began his professional career in 1997 by joining one of the most important audio production companies in the country. Those were seven years working with great directors on some of the most awarded marketing campaigns, producing for clients like Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Audi, Itaú Personnalité and Banco Real.

For almost twenty years, Serginho has kept his own studio, Comando S, currently with 21 employees and nine technical rooms. Comando S is a sound-generating pole, thanks to its multidisciplinary team of strong characteristics and creative foundations.

Command S has in its portfolio campaigns that have been well-succeed throughout the country and are known and sung by all. Serginho Rezende and his team had already directed and produced tracks for clients like Brahma, Vigor, GM, Nissan, Fiat, Citroen, Peugeot, Carrefour, Natura, Head & Shoulders, Nivea, Vivo, Claro, Tim, just to name a few. In addition, big names in Brazilian music have been in several marketing cases, such as Daniela Mercury, Ivete Sangalo and Milton Nascimento.

It’s worth mention many other jobs abroad and in partnership with producers from Latin America and other continents. A recent example is the audio production of the web series Dandy. The content is a special creation for the Dandy Rosé winery in Austin, TX.

In the world of musical entertainment, Serginho has an extensive background, being the producer of many attractions in TV and movies.

Serginho worked with movie director Fernando Meirelles in the production of the soundtrack of “Cidade dos Homens”, a TV series inspired by the movie “City of God” (“Cidade de Deus”), a worldwide blockbuster success and critically acclaimed.

Serginho is the music director of “Escola de Gênios”, a show from kids’ channel Gloob, part of the Globosat group. The production was sold to more than 40 countries, in Europe, Middle East and Africa, with a highly praised soundtrack.

Also, Serginho has recorded his own album, “Triturador de Pensamentos”, released in 2016. He has directed several projects under his label HUB Musical, such as “Mundão de Ouro”, by samba singer Riachão, and “Não Para”, by Angolan singer Paulo Matomina.
