WARSAW, POLAND // Dawid Szczepaniak is the Chief Creative Officer at VML Poland, where he leads a team of over 80 creatives. He was honored as Person of the Year by IAB Mixx Awards Poland in 2019 and by Brief Poland in 2013.

Dawid is a TEDx speaker and has earned more than 340 industry awards, including a Grand Prix, a Titanium award, and multiple others at the Cannes Lions Festival.

He achieved the distinction of bringing home the very first Cannes Lions Agency of the Year title ever given to a Polish advertising agency.

In addition, he serves as a jury member at creative shows worldwide, including Cannes Lions, Golden Drum, and the Webby Awards, among others.

His key clients include BNP Paribas, IKEA, Samsung, T-Mobile and Asahi Beer Holding.

A few years ago, he discovered a new passion: longboard surfing. Ever since, he has spent his vacations in Portugal, Morocco, and Sri Lanka, striving to progress from "the kook" to an intermediate-level surfer. (Avoiding Portuguese wine and Pastéis de Nata would certainly help in this endeavor).

Dawid is also a proud father of little Luna, who, at just eight months old, already seems to display some budding copywriting skills.
