BARCELONA, SPAIN // Berta Loran (Barcelona, 1972) has more than 20 years experience working in different advertising agencies: Ogilvy&Mather Direct, Ogilvy&Mather Healthcare, Ogilvy One, DEC BBDO and Global Healthcare.
Since 2003 she has a leading role in Global Healthcare’s Creative Department, an independent agency in Spain that tries hard to push Spanish healthcare advertising towards a more interesting, engaging, exciting, life-changing and inspiring grounds.
During her career she has worked for accounts such as Nestlé Health Science, Bayer, Merck, Novartis, Intermon-Oxfam, M&Ms, Whiskas, Heineken, Sony… She has been awarded in both national and international competitions, such as IPAs Best of Health, The Global Awards, Aspid Awards and Cannes Lions, where she and her team won a Silver Lion in Direct Marketing for a very small, local NGO.
She has also been a member of different healthcare awards juries: Cannes Lions Health (2019), Eurobest (2017), Premios Aspid, Spain (2017, 2018), El Sol Festival Iberoamericano de la comunicación publicitaria (2013), The Global Awards (2011, 2012) and IPA Best of Health Awards, London (2009).
