LOS ANGELES, USA // Brett Craig is EVP, Executive Creative Director at Deutsch LA where he oversees creative and all communications for some of the agency’s marquee clients including Taco Bell, Dr Pepper and 7UP. His work has been recognized by major award shows including Cannes, The One Show, D&AD, The ANDYs and the CLIOs.
Prior to joining Deutsch, Craig served as Group Creative Director at TBWAChiatDay where he led advertising and communications for brands including Washington Mutual, Taco Bell and Pepsi. During his time at TBWAChiatDay, he created iconic work for Sony PlayStation, which helped it become one of the most recognized brands in America. Additionally, he was part of the team that launched an entirely new category with Sirius XM Satellite Radio.
Craig started his career as a copywriter at M1 Agency, working on lifestyle brands such as Oakley, Speedo, Heavenly Ski Resort and Freestyle watches.
In 2014, Craig was named to The Adweek 50, an esteemed list of the top marketers in America. He is set to release a non-fiction book about collaboration entitled, “Collaborate or Die: How Being a Jerk Kills Ideas and Careers.”
When he’s not making ads, he likes to make the occasional par on a golf course and spend time with his two children, Sierra and Savannah, and his wife of 10 years, Breezy.
