GUATEMALA // With over 20 years of experience, he has led the communication strategies of multinational brands such as P&G, BAT, Pepsi Co, AmBev, Nestle, CBC, Telefónica, Hasbro, Quaker, Diageo among others.

After leading creative teams in Dmb & b, Darcy and Grey in 2001 he founded the advertising agency  “El Taier” turning it into the most recognized independent agency in Central America in international festivals, such as Cannes, Clio, FIAP, Ojo de Iberoamérica, Caracol de Plata, Festival Antigua etc.

10 years after its foundation and having just moved from 2 to 100 people, El Taier finds DDB, the perfect partner to generate a higher level of influence on the market.

At his current position as Creative and Strategic Vice President at El Taier, he leads the media synergy and platforms incorporating new ways of understanding and analyzing the consumer from the perspectives of psycho and biometry of neuromarketing.

Jorge has actively participated in the development of the new Guatemalan advertiser’s generations, as president of the “Asociación General de Publicistas,” professor and lecturer at several universities, as jury and consultant at the Young Lions Competition Guatemala.

Graduated Cum Laude from Universidad Francisco Marroquín with a degree in Advertising, getting the Baccalaureus Artium in Desing and Science Communication Technician.
