BURBANK, USA // Kelsey De Weerd has over 15 years of experience in branding and creative marketing, working across major studios and agencies. Her expertise spans award-winning multi-platform campaigns that include digital, AV, social, print, and out-of-home media.

Currently, Kelsey leads a team of All-Star Art Directors and Designers at Paramount+. Their focus is on creating elevated, original content with a social-first approach to engage audiences and build fandoms for titles such as: Halo, Knuckles, Lioness, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, and School Spirits, as well as movies including Scream VI and Mean Girls.

Kelsey began her career at The Walt Disney Company, contributing to ABC and Disney Channel with her design skills on event graphics and show titles. She later transitioned to the agency side, further honing her creativity and versatility across illustration, packaging, key art and motion design. From Designer to Creative Director, dream projects along the way have included illustration for Rocky & Bullwinkle, Times Square takeovers for Star Wars and Marvel, recreating the Cave of Wonders for Aladdin, directing award-winning social campaigns for The Lego Batman Movie and Frozen II, and garnering awards for innovation for her work on Coco and Paramount+ series Evil.

As a mom to three littles, Kelsey excels in managing a fast-paced environment, a skill she seamlessly integrates into her professional life. Known for her calm and balanced demeanor, integrity, and realistic approach to leadership, Kelsey effectively fosters her team’s talents, encouraging creative problem-solving through collaboration and high-level execution.
