LOS ANGELES, USA // Kerstin Emhoff is the Co-Founder and CEO of PRETTYBIRD, a hybrid production company with a diverse roster of directors, creatives, and collaborators generating inspiring content for all forms of entertainment. She is also the CEO of Ventureland, a creative studio and idea accelerator that develops entertainment properties, advertising campaigns, and original IP alongside filmmakers, studios, and brands.

Recognized for her successful and enduring relationships with top agencies, clients, artists, and managers, Emhoff built PRETTYBIRD into one of the world’s most prestigious production companies in branded storytelling. Some of PRETTYBIRD’s esteemed honors include multiple Cannes Grand Prix, D&ADs, Clios, AICPs, MTV’s Video of the Year, Grammy and Emmy awards — and notably, being named Ad Age’s Production Company of the Year – twice – in 2015 and 2021.

Through Ventureland, Emhoff’s recent projects include the Academy Award-nominated documentary Bobi Wine: The People’s President; the Netflix docuseries BECKHAM; the Werner Herzog documentary Theater of Thought; and If These Walls Could Sing, which explores the untold story of Abbey Road studios for Disney+. Additional Ventureland projects include the Netflix documentary The Deepest Breath; Hulu’s Searching for Soul Food; and the upcoming scripted series Government Cheese for Apple TV+.

Emhoff is committed to diversifying the industry on a global scale through Pipelines, an app designed to address and combat the disconnect between underrepresented talent and the entertainment, creative, and tech industries in a meaningful and creative way. She is also a member of the DGA, PGA, and Television Academy.
