SAN FRANCISCO, USA // Hailing from Australia and having lived and worked in Sydney, Shanghai, Beijing, Singapore, Hong Kong, San Francisco and nomadically around the US the last year whilst ‘working from home’, Melissa is a leader in global brand and consumer marketing and known for her global acumen, insight driven marketing and creative innovation.
With over two decades of award-winning branding and consumer marketing, Melissa oversees all aspects of global brand strategy, marketing and execution at 2K, one of the world’s premiere video game developer and publishing labels, leading the marketing efforts for such games as NBA2K, Borderlands, PGATOUR2K, Bioshock, Mafia, WWE2K, Civilization and many more.
Prior to joining 2K, Melissa spent many years working in the automotive and marketing agency industry. She was Head of Global Marketing for INFINITI Cars and was Head of Marketing at other companies such as Volkswagen Group, Volvo and Jaguar. In addition, Melissa worked at several advertising and marketing agencies in leadership positions – she was General Manager for Wunderman China and Client Services Director at Publicis Shanghai.
Melissa was named one of AdAge’s “Women to Watch” and has won numerous awards including PMAA Gold and Bronze, Automotive Campaign of the Year for Volvo, Bronze Lion, Golden Pencil, and Australian Young Direct Marketer of the Year.
