LISBON, PORTUGAL // Born in Santarém, a small town near Lisbon, Judite has a degree in Journalism by Universidade Técnica de Lisboa. She started as a copywriter at DDB but could as easily have been a journalist had a placement at a newspaper appear before that opportunity at DDB. Maybe it was meant to be, because she has never left ad agencies ever since, working also at O&M and Y&R. She then moves to a start up local agency – Nova – that soon became one the most awarded agencies in Portugal. She becomes Creative Director of Nova and then moves to Bates Portugal as shareholder and Creative Director. Bates/Redcell merges with Y&R where she is Executive Creative Director for the past years. 

Her awards include Cannes Lions, Eurobest, Epica, Cresta, New York Festivals, London Festival, Montreux, Fiap as well as  Clube de Criativos de Portugal. She has also been in many jury panels around the world including Cannes Lions in 2002 and a permanent juror at Cresta Awards. She has been President of Creative Circle in Portugal for 4 years.

She lives in Lisbon and has two sons.
