TORONTO, CANADA // Robyn Adelson is one of Canada’s top public relations’ creatives and has been a driving force in leading the industry’s development of and recruitment for planning and creative disciplines within Canada.
She has a passion for those irresistible ideas that compel audiences to fall in love – or back in love - with brands. She is laser-focused on creating an idea ecosystem that earns its way into people’s lives. She is as passionate about the people behind the ideas and building teams that want to work together to solve problems.
Robyn joined Weber Shandwick Canada in 2015 to build out and oversee the planning and creative team in Canada and has helped to transform the agency into a market leader working with clients such as McDonald’s Canada, Sport Chek and Canadian Tire. Since joining, the team has won more than 60 awards including agency of the year and most creative campaign distinctions. She’s a member of the agency’s diversity, equity and inclusion team, and also oversees the intern program.
Prior to Weber, she helped fuel Edelman Canada’s creative transformation by creating and leading the planning and creative team and doing award-winning work for more than a decade for brands like Mondelez, Indigo Books, Expedia, Swarovski, PayPal and Hasbro.
Robyn regularly speaks at schools and to talent on modern day creative within the communications world. She volunteers her time lending marketing support as part of various non-profit boards like Canadian Feed the Children and CBB – a summer camp outside of Ottawa.
Robyn was born in Montreal, Quebec, grew up in Bradenton, Florida and is now happily in Toronto, Ontario with her husband and two young kids. She also loves the Montreal Canadiens!
