PARIS, FR // Damien Marchi is an Emmy Award winner who has been accompanying the evolution of entertainment and brands from offline to digital since the early years and along the way participated on some pretty amazing projects = Big Brother, American Idol, leading YouTube channels, online original content, innovative TV shows and brand integrations and now some of the world’s most downloaded mobile games (Disney Magic Kingdoms, Dragon Mania Legends, Minion’s Rush, Asphalt 9: Legends).
As Vice-President Marketing & Communications of Gameloft, Damien joined the Executive Committee of one of the world’s leading game creator (part of the Vivendi Group) with worldwide responsibility across both games and corporate activities.
As games are becoming always-on online entertainment platforms rather than closed experiences, we rethink our marketing and the way we engage players as well as open the door to new types of partners and activations such as music artists, esports, NGOs, car manufacturers, brands….
Prior to Gameloft, Damien was Global Head of Content at Havas to accompany brands like Dubai Tourism, Emirates, Hyundai, Reckitt Benckiser in their content and entertainment strategies, away from traditional advertising models.
Damien also worked in London at FremantleMedia the world’s biggest content producer, where he accompanied the global digital extensions of big shows like The X Factor and Idols as well as the exploration of online original content (award-winning webseries and leading YouTube channels, includingSortedFood - 2.2M subscribers).
Damien has also been a member of the Executive Committee of Euronews, the most watched news channel in Europe now part of NBC News, where he accompanied the digital transformation of the company and newsroom.
