LOS ANGELES, USA // Fabio Costa brings a world of creative achievements to Saatchi & Saatchi, quite literally. From São Paulo to Paris, Toronto to San Francisco, Richmond to Los Angeles, Fabio has been a pioneer in reinventing Art & Copy in the advertising, social and experiential space.
Throughout his career, Fabio’s helped seamlessly weave together new technologies and insightful storytelling for some of the world’s most iconic brands: Toyota, Adidas, P&G, Netflix, Ray-Ban, Disney, The Grammy’s, Expedia and Louis Vuitton, to name a few.
His global experience jumpstarted in 2005 while working with Luxottica’s Ray-Ban and helping with the launch of the ‘Never Hide’ Campaign. For a few years he led global communications for Louis Vuitton, reviving the iconic “Celebrities” work featuring U2’s Bono and football legends Zidane, Maradona and Pele. In 2012-15 he was the global creative maestro for Adidas’s World Cup campaign. From Visual Identity and Retail Design to Experiences and Anthem films, the collective work has been the most successful - brand and sales - Adidas’ soccer campaign to date.
Most recently he was honored to have been handpicked to lead all-global creative efforts for Toyota. Since 2016 Fabio has been working in all possible timezones to make sure Toyota’s commitment to the Olympic and Paralympic movements are translated on the highest level of craftsmanship, brand fit and support of Toyota’s ambition to evolve from a car company to a mobility company.
When comes to awards, in addition to the usual industry suspects (Cannes, One Show, D&AD, Clio etc), he is most proud of the long-lasting relationships him and his teams around the world were able to foster. And the biggest award of all: a wonderful wife and two kids. In his spare time he likes to compete in triathlons, ultra-marathons and the occasional Ironman race.
