NEW YORK, USA // Rolando Cordova spent the last 16 years of his career as a creative director of some of the most prestigious advertising agencies in the world including McCann New York, Havas New York, Fred & Farid Paris, BSUR Amsterdam, Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam and Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore. Creating award-winning campaigns for iconic brands like Mini/BMW, American Express, Chevrolet, Orangina, P&G and Coca Cola.
Born in Lima-Peru, he is considered one of the most influential Peruvian creatives. Together with his longtime creative partner Gian Carlo, he founded L&C, a House of Ideas, in early 2020 with offices in New York City and Lima. He uses his unique global experience to create provocative campaigns that transcend cultural barriers for brands like Dole Packaged Foods, GE, Thumbtack, Diageo, etc.
L&C has been recognized as #1 independent agency of the year 2022 by the One show, Best new agency of the year 2022 by the Andys awards and Boutique agency of the year by The Art Directors Club. Also, the agency won a Creative Business Transformation Grand Prix at Cannes Lions.
Rolo, as everyone calls him, published his first book in 2016 “Por si alguien te dice que no” a manual to help emerging LATAM talent to turn their limitations into creative fuel. He also served as jury and speaker in multiple advertising festivals including The One Show, New York Festivals, Eurobest, El Dorado Festival and El Ojo de Iberoamerica.
