LONDON, UK // Gen is a forward-thinking strategist who has over 20 years experience in the marketing and communications industry. A career that has spanned a wide range of agencies, having worked in integrated creative advertising and media agency roles across a diverse portfolio of clients from Volkswagen to Unilever to Heineken and Vodafone.
Starting life as a media strategist, working at network agencies such as Mindshare and smaller independent agencies like Goodstuff. Gen then moved into creative strategy and brand strategy at integrated creative agencies such as adam&eveDDB, Ogilvy where he was Head of Strategy for five years and ENGINE Creative where he was Chief Strategy Officer. Over his career Gen has been responsible for developing strategy for award winning campaigns recognised for strategic excellence by the IPA, Effies and APG.
Gen joined Weber Shandwick in August last year as Chief Strategy Officer for the UK and EMEA, responsible for leading integrated strategic output across the region across the agencies portfolio of clients from Sky to Nespresso, IBM and Just Eat.
