LOS ANGELES, USA // As a seasoned digital marketer in the entertainment space, Valerie Kan has been the social media voice behind some of the most popular names in television and film over the last seven years.
Some of her most well-known work include launching Lady Gaga and Will Smith on TikTok. Her career started off on the agency side, where she was responsible for publicity, influencer and social media efforts for studio clients including 20th Century Fox, ABC, Disney, Entertainment One, FX, HBO, Sony Pictures and Warner Bros. She then moved on to Paramount Pictures, where she worked on bespoke creative for fan-favorite titles like Rocketman and A Quiet Place Part II. From there, she landed at Universal Pictures, leading the charge on digital initiatives for No Time To Die and House of Gucci, to name a few.
Valerie is now at Disney+, working across a full slate of both local originals and general entertainment campaigns for international brand handles across the globe. She is a member of the Television Academy, graduated from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and currently resides in West Hollywood with her dog, Patrick.
