UNIVERSAL CITY, USA // David Heimerl is an award-winning creative executive with 20 years of experience working in the entertainment industry. He serves as Senior Director of Global Creative Services at Universal Pictures Home Entertainment and by best estimates has been with the company since he was about 6 years old.

David has developed several multi-channel marketing campaigns using various combinations of breakthrough social marketing, broadcast media, traditional print advertising, retail takeovers (brick & mortar and digital), influencer programs, collectible packaging, and augmented reality. An avid amateur photographer, he loves to travel the world to expand his critical and cultural eye, devouring the souls of his subjects as he goes.

A third generation California native, David would rather have a conversation with your dog than with you. He’s an unapologetic lover of Star Wars, Dungeons & Dragons (the actual role-playing game, although the movie was fun), hockey, gardening, great food, and anything related to space exploration and earth science.
