Kate found her calling in music supervision working under the tutelage of Alexandra Patsavas at legendary company The Chop Shop, on projects such as The OC, Grey's Anatomy, and Mad Men. After The Chop Shop, Kate joined Warner Music Group, where she pitched music to brand campaigns and later the advertising agency mcgarrybowen, where she was music producer and developed custom music for brands like JPMorgan Chase, Verizon, Kraft and Reebok. Kate joined Heavy Duty Projects in 2013, and through her vision and leadership, Heavy Duty Projects has become a globally recognized agency with offices and studios in LA, NY and London. Heavy Duty Projects’ clients list include fortune 500 companies, ad agencies and major film and TV Studios. They are frequent recipients of awards and accolades, including, in 2022 and 2023, being named by AdAge as a Music And Sound Company of the Year finalist.
