LOS ANGELES, USA // Vanessa Jorge Perry is the founder and creative head of GrlSqdMx, a music supervision and music consulting company with more than 25 years of experience working on films, trailers, promos, and video games. She has also worked with trailer houses, production companies, directors, and editors on a range of projects./p>

She most recently served as the Music Supervisor of Eva Longoria’s directorial debut Flamin’ Hot that premiered to outstanding reviews on Hulu & Disney + last month.

Vanessa’s recent work further includes overseeing music for the new trailer for Disney’s new live action remake of The Little Mermaid which included custom music. She has also contributed to the creation of trailers and promos for projects such as John Wick, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Fast X, and Marvel Studios’ Black Panther; and secured music placements on projects such as The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and Nope.

Vanessa has been a proud member of the Guild of Music Supervisors for more than 10 years and is currently serving her second term on the GMS Board of Directors.
