DUBLIN, IRELAND // After a few years playing guitar in Dublin bands, exposure to Kraftwerk and John Carpenter soundtracks inspired me to discover synthesizers, drum-machines and then DJing at raves in the early 90s.

I studied Graphic Design and spent a few years working by day as a designer in both Dublin and Sydney while spending my nights experimenting with electronic music. In 1997 I began to combine my audio experiments with Motion Graphics and Film work.

By 2001 it was time to focus purely on Sound Design and Music. Fuelled by vintage synthesizers and good coffee, I founded Echolab where I’ve had the pleasure to produce the soundtracks on commercials for leading brands including Nike, Google, Samsung, Microsoft, Guinness and short films like 'The Missing Scarf’ which reached the 2014 Academy Award shortlist in the Short Film Category.
