LONDON, UK // Dan Sherwen is an award-winning editor represented by Final Cut.

With over twenty years experience in the industry, Dan’s work in the world of advertising has been widely celebrated, picking up awards at some of advertising’s biggest festivals and ceremonies. In 2017, he received two Editing awards at AICE for his work on Under Armour’s “It Comes From Below” campaign, including the prestigious Best in Show award. The following year, his work on Lucozade “Anthony Joshua: Made to Move” received Gold for editing and Creative Circle and Ciclope, along with Silver at Cannes Lions. That year he also received a D&AD pencil for Absolut “Equal Love.” More recently, Dan’s work on The New York Times “The Truth Takes a Journalist” received awards for editing at Cannes Lions, D&AD, AICP and The Gerety Awards.

Dan narrative editing work covers both feature film and television drama projects. In 2017 he edited Kissing Candace, directed by Aoife McCardle, which was screened as part of the official selection at TIFF and Berlinale, where it had its European premier. More recently, Dan has worked on Gangs of London series two for HBO and Sky.

Having cut his teeth as an editor cutting music videos, Dan has also edited award-winning work for some of the world’s biggest artists, including U2, The Chemical Brothers, Massive Attack, George Michael and Wu-Tang Clan.
