NEW YORK, USA // Jenny Whitlock is a global brand and marketing leader with extensive experience in strategic planning, integrated marketing, and IP development for some of the most iconic brands in the world. She is currently SVP, Head of Global Fan Marketing for the National Basketball Association (NBA), where she leads development of league-wide strategy to grow and galvanize worldwide fandom, overseeing the team responsible for creating and executing comprehensive global marketing and fan engagement strategies that drive brand affinity, awareness, tune-in, acquisition, and retention.
Before joining the NBA, Jenny was SVP, Global Brand Strategy & Management at Hasbro, where she oversaw franchise strategy and development for the company’s portfolio of owned action brands, including Transformers, Power Rangers, and G.I. JOE. Prior to Hasbro, she led global brand strategy at Amazon for all Prime Video series, specials, and sports programming and was part of the team who helped launch the streamer in over 200 markets worldwide.
Jenny began her career by spending nearly fourteen years at The Walt Disney Company, starting with Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, where she directed global campaigns to launch numerous attractions and events. Jenny made the move to entertainment in 2007 by joining ABC, where she developed marketing strategies and positioning for all primetime programming. Following her time at the network, she led global marketing strategy at Walt Disney Studios for Disney, Marvel, and Lucasfilm theatrical titles. After almost four years in film, she returned to TV to oversee marketing for Marvel Television.
A member of the Television Academy and Paley Media Council, Jenny has her BBA in Marketing from Mississippi State University and MBA from the University of Florida.
