LOS ANGELES, USA // With a career that spans nearly two decades, Heather Guibert is an adept collaborator with vast experience across visual media passionate about pairing music to stories and bringing ideas to life on screen. The four-time Guild of Music Supervisors Awards nominee has lent her music supervision expertise to more than 700 episodes of television and over two dozen feature films, in addition to her freelance work in trailers, promos and advertising. Upon choosing to forego a career in aerospace engineering, to pursue her dream of working in Hollywood, Heather got her start as an intern in the Film/TV department at Chrysalis Music Publishing. The South Florida native, who split time growing up in rural France, then spent nine years honing her craft at Neophonic Music & Media working on such acclaimed television projects as Glee (Fox), The Americans (FX), CSI: Miami (CBS), United States of Tara (Showtime), American Horror Story (FX), Lincoln Heights (ABC Family), Nip/Tuck (FX), Generation Kill (HBO) and films Eat Pray Love (Sony Pictures), What to Expect When You’re Expecting (Lionsgate Films), Any Day Now (PFM Pictures), and The Normal Heart (HBO).
Heather is the current Vice President of the Guild of Music Supervisors, a graduate of University of Southern California’s Thornton School of Music, and a proud member of the Television Academy, Film Independent, and Women in Film. In her spare time, she can be found petting dogs, exploring outdoors, or watching soccer.
