LOS ANGELES, USA // Jessica Entner is the Vice President of Creative Sync Strategy at Warner Chappell Music, working with one of the largest publishing catalogs in the world. With a background in working with composers and songwriters, she is thrilled to be working with such an immense catalog of songs and writers spanning Bowie, Tom Petty, and George Michael to Benson Boone, Teddy Swims, and Anderson Paak. Throughout her career, she has blended her production skills, creative strategy, and business development to help brands and agencies navigate the music landscape. Music has always been in Jessica’s DNA. Growing up in Los Angeles with a musician-turned-manager father, she had a front-row seat to the inner workings of the music business from an early age. She kicked off her career with internships at Radio & Records and Maverick Publishing, and worked as a production manager on major music videos before signing to Warner Chappell as a songwriter, writing and recording with a range of artists and producers.
Her move into advertising began at Elias Arts, launching a 20+ year career in music for brand advertising. She went on to serve as Executive Producer at The Lodge and Head of Production at Massive Music before launching two independent ventures: the live action production company DapperTV, and her own music supervision and strategy agency, JEM Music + Strategy. A favorite career highlight was the 2016 Kia Rio campaign, where she proposed the idea to have director Julian Smith not only direct the spot but also compose the music using the car itself as an instrument. Outside of work, she has dabbled in stand-up comedy, co-hosts the @90who10 podcast, spends time skiing with her family, and has never met a dog she didn’t pet.
