LOS ANGELES, USA // With digital expertise dating back to the late 90’s, Jim Talbot has a background that is strategically and creatively wide-reaching. Early in his career, Jim was a UI designer for global creative consultancy Frog Design. And his main focus for the better part of the past decade has been overseeing award-winning interactive projects as an Executive Producer, almost exclusively for clients in the entertainment industry.
Jim has been the Head of Digital at The Refinery since 2014. Prior to that, he was VP, Interactive at bpg. Jim’s creative marketing efforts over the years have supported studio and network releases across television (Showtime, Syfy, National Geographic Channel), theatrical (20th Century Fox, Disney, Sony Pictures), digital distribution (Amazon Studios, Hulu), and home entertainment (20th Century Fox, Lionsgate).
Originally from the NYC area, Jim now happily calls Los Angeles home. He has a BFA in Design from The University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the University of Southern California. Jim is an expert skier, and he plays in a competitive ice hockey league. Miraculously, he still has all of his own teeth!
