Mr. Monaco is a widely recognized leader in entertainment marketing and the branded content space. Currently, Mr. Monaco leads strategic marketing initiatives for Universal Music Enterprises with all internal and external partners within the brand, content and digital industries. Additionally, Mr. Monaco oversees brand and partnership development for the entire Universal Music Catalog repertoire, which includes some of the most iconic and acclaimed artists in the music industry.
Prior to Universal Music, Mr. Monaco held the position of Senior Vice President at Octagon Worldwide, leading music and entertainment marketing for Octagon’s clients (MasterCard, Bank of America, Sprint, American Airlines, Allstate, and BMW to name a few).
Prior to Octagon, Mr. Monaco served as Director of Entertainment Marketing at Allied Domecq PLC and Pernod Ricard USA, overseeing all entertainment initiatives for some of the most recognizable brands in the world; including Stoli, Kahlua, Malibu, Makers Mark, Sauza, Beefeater, and Chivas. Mr. Monaco has also served as Head of International Marketing for SpikeRadio.com and held posts at Indi-CRD and Moonshine Music.
