ATLANTA, USA // A little about my life in Advertising:
Back in the day I co-founded two South African ad agencies – Joe Public and FoxP2. Today they're amongst the very top agencies in the country thanks to my amazing original partners.
I've won quite a few creative awards at Cannes, One Show, D&AD, London, New York and Clios. Enough that they'd make a din going through the metal detectors at Nice airport. And I'm proud that five pieces of my work feature in The Best South African Advertising of All Time book.
I worked in New York as Executive Creative Director at GREY Worldwide for a good friend. My work for E*TRADE – the talking babies campaign – was voted The New York Times' 'Best Campaign of 2008' and 'Best Ad of Super Bowl 2009'. My global 'Breathe Happy' Campaign for P&G's Febreze also won multiple Cannes Lions in 2011 and a Creative Effectiveness Lion at Cannes in 2012.
I'm currently the Chief Creative Officer of Fitzgerald & Company in Atlanta and am proud to have helped one of the nicest men in advertising Dave Fitzgerald, and his awesome agency, grow our relationship with Coca-Cola, SONY Mobile and other key clients, and win again at Cannes this year.
