Ron Skotarczak executive vice president of marketing partnerships for The Madison Square Garden Company. Ron is an outstanding sales executive who has played an invaluable role in MSG establishing unparalleled relationships with world-class companies, including our Marquee Partnership with JPMorgan Chase. In his role, Ron, who previously served as senior vice president of marketing partnerships for MSG Sports, is responsible for developing, managing and implementing the company’s overall sales strategy and initiatives within the marketing partnership sales, media sales, and service groups, including Integrated Sales, Team Sales, Entertainment Sales, Sports Property Sales, and MSG’s two television networks MSG and MSG Plus. Ron develops and leads our world-class sales and service organization with the goal of maximizing revenue, quality of partners and value from our partner base. He drives the partnership sales efforts, developing cross-venue, multi-platform marketing deals that leverage MSG’s unparalleled portfolio of diverse assets. In addition, Ron oversees the partnership strategy group, which delivers a premier experience for MSG’s partners by developing cutting-edge activation plans and providing exceptional service. Ron joined MSG Sports as senior vice president of Transformation sales in December 2008, and was promoted to senior vice president of partnership sales in March 2011. During his tenure at MSG, he has played a key role in securing multiple unprecedented marketing partnerships for the company, highlighted by the addition of JPMorgan Chase as MSG’s first-ever Marquee Partner. In addition, Signature Partnerships secured with industry leading brands Anheuser-Busch, Coca-Cola, Delta Air Lines, Kia Motors, Lexus and SAP all incorporate MSG’s sports, entertainment and media assets as well as those of the transformed Garden.Skotarczak came to MSG Sports from Lightning Gaming, where he served as president and director for the company he co-founded. While at Lightning Gaming he oversaw all business operations, successfully leading the company to unprecedented growth in less than three years of business. Prior to Lightning Gaming, he was vice president at AND 1 where he established and developed the AND 1 Entertainment Division. He launched the international basketball tour “The AND 1 Mix Tape Tour” and the television program, “Streetball: The AND 1 Mix Tape Tour,” which aired on ESPN. Before joining AND 1, Skotarczak was vice president at HoopsTV where he managed the advertising sales and content acquisition departments, working with companies such as Coca Cola, FootAction, Comcast, Fila and Reebok, along with top colleges, high schools and sports leagues across the nation. During his career Skotarczak has also held sales positions with the Philadelphia Eagles and Comcast-Spectacor. In 2011 Skotarczak was named to Street and Smith’s SportsBusiness Journal Forty Under 40. Skotarczak holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Villanova University in Pennsylvania, where he also served as an adjunct professor.
