LOS ANGELES, USA // Raymond Leon Roker found his way into content first as a graffiti artist. He went on to co-found URB, an award-winning magazine and multimedia company considered a pioneer for its early coverage of America’s dance/electronic music and burgeoning hip-hop movements. As a creator, executive producer, and curator, Raymond is driven to tell stories that reflect culture, movements, voices, sounds, and communities. He believes in shining the truest light possible and shaping meaningful narratives around creators, fans, and brands.
In 2020, Raymond served as an Executive Producer and co-writer of the YouTube Originals feature documentary, Coachella: 20 Years in the Desert. He developed hundreds of hours of live stream content for the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival broadcast as executive creative director. And spearheading the launch AEG Studios, the company’s first foray into branded content.
Based in Culver City, he currently leads a team building and growing Amazon Music’s content strategy, which reaches 55 million customers globally, serving as Global Head of Editorial. Raymond is also a longtime board member of ArtworxLA, a community-based multidisciplinary arts program aimed at combating the high school dropout epidemic in Los Angeles.
