Innovation in Music Video Award Presented by YouTube

A new Specialty award will be presented to a recipient using a groundbreaking technique, technology, or creative video formats in the execution of a Music Video (as defined below)
- For this award, a “Music Video” means a standout, intentional, and authentic visual content execution designed to market a song’s release by building a distinctive world around the music, conveying the artist’s vision, captivating fans, and sparking conversation and providing a reason to return to the music over and over again, through its creative impact, regardless of format or scale.
- All entries submitted in the Film/Video medium will be considered for this award; no additional entry or action is necessary.
- Entrants are encouraged to note the innovative aspects of the music video in the submission synopsis.

- Use of Music in Film, TV and Games – Entries in this medium are for the use of music in any type of television, film, video games, or other linear or non-linear broadcast or streaming media. Entrants are able to submit single executions or multiple executions as a campaign.
- Use of Music Craft (Renamed from The Use of Music in Advertising Craft) – Entries in this medium include songwriting technique and the craft/skills used in the execution and placement of audio content in advertising, film, television, games, or in a trailer/teaser.
- Digital/Mobile, AI and Emerging Technology (Renamed from Digital/Mobile and Emerging Technology)
- Live Music (Definition Update) – Entries in this medium include creative work that promotes ticketed or free events for live or virtual music audiences including, but not limited to, concerts, festivals, stunts, and performance activations. This also includes entries promoting a live music organization, series, or venue.
